Who controls your data

The data controller for Remixary is Ye Hailun, a sole trader, who also goes by Helen Yeh, contactable at support@remixary.com.

Age

Remixary is a business tool and is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it and delete the associated data.

What we collect

Account data. Your name, email address, and password hash — or, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, the identifier and email that provider returns to us. We never see your Google or GitHub password.

Content you upload and generate. Reference videos, product images, prompts, and the video, voiceover and captions produced for you.

Usage data. Which features you use, generation history, credit transactions, and error logs.

Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, collected when you use the site.

What we do not collect. We do not receive or store your card number, expiry, or CVC. Those are entered on the checkout page of our payment processor — see below.

Why we use it

• To run the service: authenticate you, generate your output, meter credits.
• To bill you and to keep records required for tax and accounting.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To keep the service working and secure: diagnose faults, prevent abuse.
• To send service email (receipts, renewal and expiry notices, security notices). Marketing email is separate and only sent if you opt in; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors, each for a specific purpose:

Your prompts and uploads are sent to the AI providers listed above in order to produce your output. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We may disclose data where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Your rights over your data

You have all of the following rights. To exercise any of them, email support@remixary.com — that is the privacy contact for this policy.

1. Right to know. Understand what data we collect about you and how we use it. That is what this document is for; ask us if anything here is unclear.
2. Right to access. Obtain a copy of the personal information we hold, including your account record and generation history.
3. Right to correct. Have inaccurate or incomplete information fixed. Your name and email can be changed yourself in Settings → Profile; email us for anything else.
4. Right to delete. Request erasure of your account and its content. We act on deletion requests within 30 days, except where billing records must be kept for tax and accounting law.
5. Right to restrict processing. Ask us to pause a particular use of your data while a dispute or correction is being resolved.
6. Right to data portability. Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
7. Right to object. Object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest, and to any marketing.
8. Right to withdraw consent. Where processing rests on your consent — marketing email is the main case — withdraw it at any time, via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by writing to us.

How we handle requests. We respond within 30 calendar days and we do not charge for it. We may need to verify your identity first, so that nobody else can obtain or delete your data by asking. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the data protection authority for your country.

Closing your account

Email support@remixary.com and say you want the account closed. We confirm, then delete the account, your uploads and your generated output within 30 days. Unused credits are forfeited on closure — if that matters to you, ask about a refund under the Refunds section of our Terms of Service before you ask us to close it.

How long we keep it

• Account data: while your account is open, and 30 days after you close it.
• Uploads and generated output: while your account is open; deleted within 30 days of account closure or of a deletion request.
• Billing records: retained as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is typically several years, even after account closure.
• Server and error logs: up to 90 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to the operator. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and any required authority without undue delay.

International transfers

Our processors operate in several countries, including the United States, Singapore and China. Using the service means your data may be processed in those countries.

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure, plus limited analytics. See our Cookie Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version number and effective date above will change, and we will notify you of material changes by email or in-product.
