What you may and may not generate with Remixary, how we moderate, and how to report abuse

    2026/08/01

    Version 1.1 — effective 1 August 2026

Remixary generates video. That makes what you generate our problem as well as yours. This policy sets out what is not allowed, how we check, what happens when the rules are broken, and how to report it. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

    1. Zero tolerance

The following result in immediate and permanent account termination without notice, and referral to the relevant authorities where the law requires it. There is no appeal path for category (a).

    (a) Child sexual abuse material. Any sexual depiction of a minor, in any form, real or synthetic.

    (b) Terrorism and violent extremism. Content that promotes, plans, glorifies or recruits for terrorism or violent extremist organisations.

    (c) Weapons capable of mass harm. Instructions or promotional material for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction.

    (d) Incitement to genocide or mass atrocity.

    (e) Non-consensual sexual deepfakes. Sexualised synthetic depictions of a real, identifiable person made without their consent.

    2. Prohibited content

You may not use Remixary to generate, upload or distribute:

    1. Sexual content / NSFW. Pornography, sexually explicit imagery, and content sexualising any person.

    2. Violence and gore. Realistic depictions of extreme violence, injury, mutilation or cruelty, and content that glorifies or incites violence.

    3. Hate speech. Content that attacks, degrades or incites hatred against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any comparable characteristic.

    4. Content unsafe for children. See section 1(a) — this is absolute.

    5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Synthetic depictions of a real person's face or voice without their consent; content that impersonates a real individual, business or public body; content presented so as to mislead viewers about who is speaking or endorsing.

    6. Infringement of copyright or trademark. Reproducing a third party's video, music, footage, characters, logos or trademarks in your output; passing off another brand's advertisement as your own.

    7. Fraud, scams and deceptive advertising. We generate advertising, so this one is ours specifically: no fake offers, fake discounts, fake urgency, fake testimonials, phishing, fake investment or health claims, or advertising for goods and services you cannot actually supply.

On category 6, be clear about how this product works: uploading a reference advertisement is permitted so the service can analyse its structure. That gives you no rights in the reference. Remixary is designed to produce a new advertisement for your product, not a copy of somebody else's.

    3. Restricted content — allowed only under conditions

These are not banned outright, but you carry the compliance burden in every market where you run the advertisement:

    • Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, gambling, lotteries — only where legal, and only with the age-gating and warnings that market requires.
    • Health, medical, supplement and weight-loss claims — only claims you can substantiate; no diagnosis, treatment or cure claims without the licences your market requires.
    • Financial products, credit, crypto — only with the risk disclosures your market requires. No guaranteed-return claims.
    • Political and social-issue advertising — only with the disclosure and registration your market requires.
    • Depictions of real people — only with their consent, held by you and producible on request.

    4. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the service to break the law; to circumvent our credit metering, rate limits or content checks (including prompts crafted to evade the checks in section 5); to probe or attack our systems or those of our model providers; to resell raw model access; or to present AI-generated video as camera-captured footage in a context where that distinction matters to the viewer.

    5. How we moderate

Automated screening of inputs — yes. Every generation prompt is scanned by Waffo Content Safety (scan-prompt) before generation starts and before any credits are reserved. Only an allow verdict proceeds. If the scanner is unavailable, the request is refused rather than let through — we fail closed. Because the check happens before metering, a blocked prompt costs you nothing; there is no charge to reverse and no compensation to wait for.

Automated screening of outputs — partial, and we will not overstate it. We do not run an independent classifier over finished video. Two other layers apply: the underlying model providers listed in our Terms of Service enforce their own safety filters, so a request they reject simply fails; and our own delivery checks reject output that does not match the requested specification. Neither of these is a substitute for output-side safety classification, and we say so plainly rather than imply coverage we do not have.

Human review. Reported content is reviewed by a person. When investigating a specific, credible report we may examine the generation history of the account concerned.

Severity classification. Reports are triaged L1–L4, which determines how fast we act — see section 6.

Review of the checks themselves. We review blocked-prompt logs periodically to catch both misses and over-blocking, and we correct account actions we got wrong.

    6. How fast we respond

Remixary is operated by one person. The commitments below are what a one-person operation can actually meet, which is the only kind of commitment worth publishing.

    LevelExamplesFirst responseResolution
    L1Child safety, terrorism, non-consensual sexual deepfake24 hours48 hours
L2Other deepfake/impersonation, sexual content, hate speech3 business days7 business days
L3Copyright/trademark, fraudulent or deceptive advertising5 business days10 business days
L4Everything else, including appeals against our own decisions10 business days20 business days

These windows are achievable in part because section 5 stops most prohibited material at the input, so the volume reaching human review is small. If that stops being true we will revise these numbers rather than quietly miss them.

    7. Reporting

Email support@remixary.com. It is monitored by a real person — it is our only reporting channel, and we would rather have one that works than five that do not.

Include what you can: a description, the account or content concerned, and any link. For L1 matters put URGENT in the subject line.

    8. What we do about violations

We escalate according to severity and history:

    1. Warning, with a request to delete or change the content
    2. Content removal
    3. Feature limitation — reduced quota, or loss of access to particular models
    4. Temporary account suspension
    5. Permanent account termination. Unused credits are forfeited on termination for a violation
    6. Referral to law enforcement, where we believe an offence has been committed

Section 1 goes straight to step 5 (and 6 where applicable). We only list actions we can actually carry out.

    9. Appeals

If we block a generation or act against your account and you believe we are wrong, email support@remixary.com. Every blocked generation carries a request ID — quote it and we can find the exact decision.

Appeals are open to every user, including free accounts. We reply within the L4 window above, and we restore access when we got it wrong. Category 1(a) is the one exception: those terminations are final.

    10. Changes

We may update this policy as the product and the law develop. The version number and effective date above will change, and material changes will be notified by email or in-product.
